Ok, let's do this! BMW Club meeting this evening at 7:30 pm. 

As I said let's just try a casual meeting and talk about the things I mentioned or whatever else. See how it goes. I will also record the meeting and put it on YouTube so be prepared for that. If you don't want to be on YouTube don't turn on your camera. But I will list the video as "Unlisted" which means someone will have to have the link to see it (not Google searchable). I will post the link here in the forums and on Facebook so others can see and maybe decide to join in the next one. 

And for now I will only post and not send a mass email. If this is popular and goes well then maybe we can have regular, scheduled virtual meetings and I will send an email blast (over 600 people!).

Following the Zoom best practices I will only post the meeting link shortly before the meeting (prevents search engines from scanning and exposing), the meeting ID will be unique (no standing meetings), use a password, and use the waiting room. The meeting defaults will be to join with audio and video off so you will need to enable those yourselves when you come in. (Not sure but be prepared.)

Let's try another online meeting using Zoom, this time with no agenda. Just get together and chat because we can't meet otherwise yet. 

So here is a list of potential discussion topics, not limited to these, but just to give people a place to start and maybe gather their thoughts, ideas, suggestions. 
To improve the security of the meeting I will follow best practices and not post in a public space the meeting details until soon before the meeting. Zoom has gotten heat for insecurity because of using standing meeting IDs, no passwords, and Google searchable meeting links. So I will use a unique meeting ID, a meeting password, and post only hours before the meeting. Watch this space if you want to join.
