Ok, it's Thursday afternoon so here is the meeting info:

I have heard quite positive feedback on these Zoom meetups. It is different but many of us are getting used to the idea. I feel more comfortable handling the meeting (and looking at myself in the camera!). Let's do this again but with an even more open agenda. Last time we talked about cold weather gear, Bluetooth headsets, and camping. For this next meeting let's just have an open "show and tell". Bring what ya got. A couple of pics with a good (brief) story, a short video, a Garmin Basecamp route, pics of your bike or a new farkle, or whatever you have that is motorcycle-related.

One thing I noticed that I didn't know. On the video call I asked everyone's permission to put the recording of the meeting on YouTube since their names were on their video streams. But if you look at the recording all you see is faces - no names. Interesting...

And to possibly get a few more people to join in and learn about us let me say that if someone just wants to join and listen but not participate I will have a new rule - if your video is not on I will not address you. No questions, no introduction, no comment. You can be completely anonymous if you like (but remember the name you put into your Zoom app may show up). If your video camera is not on I will not call you out.

Note that this will require you to share your screen using Zoom. Understand the difference between sharing a browser window versus sharing your entire screen.

So let's see how this goes as we all learn and adjust to the new environment.

Once again, I will wait until Thursday afternoon to publish the Zoom link here and on Facebook. That is a best practice to avoid random people from finding our meeting by Google searching for Zoom meetings.

Jerry

PS. Send me your ideas for future meetups!
