GS-911 Diagnostic Tool Possession Tracking

Did you find help for your service light? If you need help with your BMW service light. Please let me know. I don't like service reminders lights or other check engine lights after all work and repairs have been done by the owner.

I purchased a after market scanner tool for bikes that include BMW's. Figured it was worth it since I have two R 1200 GS Adventures and I'm going to start doing my own service on them. The last major 12,000 mile service cost me $1200.00 but had to be done for warranty. I may (and I say may because I need more practice using it first) be able to help other club members with scans on their bike including reset of "service reminder" light ect on their bike. It worked well on my 2018. Will try and post more on this after I learn more on it's use. It has the ability to make changes to the ECU so it must be used correctly.

If there is any club member with experience using the OBDPROG Moto 100 EU scanner or other shop scanners? Please let me know here so we can talk more about using it correctly. May be able to help other club members in time. Thank you and Happy Holidays to all club members and their families.

Does the club own a GS-911 Pro diagnostics tool?

I need to reset the service notification on my 2018 GS. Will also need it soon enough for my 2017 GS.

tarek: would like to reset that annoying service indicator. Is there another tech day scheduled or did I miss it while I was in the north?

I have the unit as of April 23, 2021. I am still working out the easiest way to use it. I'm hoping that all you will need is the unit and the app on your phone. I will post details as soon as possible.
