It's last minute, but I'm going to make a run up to Thorndale's Meat Market. IMOP one of the top five BBQs in Texas, or at least of the many that I've been to (though there are an order of magnitude that I haven't been to).
It's 125 mi out and 139 mi back.
The meetup spot is the Shell station at 30942 Hwy 90 ... that's just west of the Bucees on I-10, BUT THE STATION IS ON HWY 90 AROUND THE BACK OF BUCEES.
KSU at 08:30. Arrive early for fuel and coffee.
