General Discussion

I've already registered for the Rally, and secured my reservations at the

Best Western in La Grange. 600 East State Highway 71. It's been my

choice for the all the years I've been able to attend.

If you're thinking of staying at this hotel, I suggest you make reservations

as soon as possible. I believe it was 4-years ago that we ended up competing

for space with a Wedding party.

It's just a quick 15-minutes from the park.

Fernando and Kevin have been doing a great job pushing out the rainy weather

for next weekend's Rally.

I just wanted to point out that the overnight temperatures are forcast to be 49 (F)

on Friday night and 53 (F) on Saturday night, so please plan accordingly if you're

camping out. I'm packing additional layers and my electrics just in case.

We should also discuss how the park gates operate, open/closing times, and any

gate code needed to get through them after-hours. Several of us had problems

escaping late at night.

And now if you haven't seen the weather channel lately, we have a tropical storm

and/or hurricane that's predicted to have something to say about our weekend....
