Meeting Minutes from the Club Meeting at Wolfsmiths on 1/10/2026

----------------------------------------------------------------

o We had 20.5 attendees at this last meeting (see picture).

o Fernando presented on Motorcycle Maintenance topics, as well as

encouraging we perform figure 8's in school parking lots if

legally allowed.

o Fernando encouraged everyone to renew memberships, as all of the

club funds are used to offset costs of the annual Rally at Lake

Fayette, the December Christmas party, the Tech day lunches

(Yum), and other ride event costs.

o Motorcycle parts from Beemer Boneyard was highly recommended,

especially the project kits, but other sources were discussed.

Rubber Side Up in Dallas was also mentioned for Used parts.

o A trip out to the Barber Motorsports Museaum in Leeds Alabama

was discussed for October 9-11. More info to follow.

o MPH Cycles was recommended for maintenance of older BMWs, and we

confirmed that Mike Haven and Davy Parsons are working M-F now

at his farm/workshop in HEMPSTEAD. Contact is 281-647-6557 or

at www.mphcycles.com. Mention you are from our Club.

o Jerry Matson is looking for some experienced two-up riders to

help out at the Ironman event in the Woodlands. They carry

camera men and race officials around. We had two attendees

express interest.

o Jerome Istin (not present) has also noted that he is looking

for MC Marshalls for their MS 150 events.

o Safety-On-Two-Wheels sponsored a movie night at Wolfsmiths back

in December to view "Why We Ride". If you missed it and really

want to see it, James Brown has a DVD copy of it that you can

BORROW!! He also has DVD copies of Ride Like a Pro from 2006

and 2012, Hard Miles and Hard Miles 2, and even Wild Hogs.
